Those who know me, have had a little taste of the “New Mexico country girl” in me (and some have even tasted my Mexican food). Al Perkin’s production on this recording captured the down-home flavor I was looking for. A little about the songs: The New Mexico Song sings my love for my native state. El Salvador is a duet with the composer Danny Daniels. It has become one of the most popular songs and one I still get requests for. Just in Time was written for one of the girls who God rescued out of prostitution in Amsterdam.   With You was inspired when I first gave my life to being a missionary. Love Can Build A Bridge states beautifully how the Lord would have us live. I made a waltz out of Seek Ye First and added an into that was the cry for peace. All these songs are part of my roots in America, but even more, I hope you hear the spirit of the music that goes even deeper than my country roots. As the lyrics in the song Wind Across Australia say… “If your heart can hear it, you’ll never be the same.”
